PININFARINA SPACE PURE GRAY (SATIN ALUMINUM)

PININFARINA SPACE, THE FIRST PININFARINA PRODUCT WENT INTO SPACE.
Pininfarina SPACE is a stylus with an innovative design which, thanks to the tip in Ethergraf®, a patented metal alloy, allows you to write without limits.
This aerodynamically shaped stylus is forged from magnesium, a unique, ultra-lightweight material that offers high mechanical performance.
SPACE has also been studied as a writing tool suitable for microgravity environments, such as the ISS International Space Station
The Ethergraf®, of which the tip is made, has proved to be an excellent material for writing in these physical conditions.
Pininfarina SPACE was in fact given to the astronauts, as a personal writing instrument, during the last VITA space expedition, a mission that also saw the participation of the Italian Paolo Nespoli.
The operation was possible thanks to a close collaboration with Altec (Aerospace Logistics Technology Engineering Company).
